🌿 About VanaVigyan
Our Mission & Vision
VanaVigyan is a student-driven initiative dedicated to documenting India's vast heritage of medicinal plants and making this knowledge easily accessible to everyone. Our mission is to create a reliable, research-backed, and user-friendly platform where the healing properties of Indian herbs and small plants are presented in a simple, scientific, and structured manner.
Many powerful medicinal plants are commonly found in rural areas, yet their benefits remain under-documented or under-utilized in cities. Through VanaVigyan, we aim to bridge this gap by bringing rural herbal wisdom to modern users — students, researchers, teachers, households, and anyone interested in natural remedies.
🌱 Our Purpose
- To build a comprehensive Indian platform for medicinal, aromatic, and herbal plant information.
- To help communities understand the therapeutic value of everyday plants.
- To promote scientific awareness, responsible usage, and evidence-based knowledge.
- To preserve traditional rural medicinal wisdom and present it to urban users in a modern, searchable format.
